The estate lies in the middle of Tuscany and belongs to the historic medieval town of Massa Marittima in the province of Grosseto. Shops, a pharmacy, doctors, restaurants and cafés are 5 to 8 minutes away by car, the nearest petrol station 3 minutes. The Tyrrhenian Sea at Follonica is only 16 minutes away for beach walks, fishing, swimming, or diving and snorkelling along the coast. The ferry from Piombino takes you to Elba in 45 to 60 minutes, and there are other islands to visit, such as Capraia, Giglio and Montecristo. Marinas in Puntone, Porto di Scarlino, Punta Ala, San Vincenzo and Castiglione della Pescaia are not far away. Rome airport is 2.5 hours away, the cruise port of Civitavecchia 120 minutes, Pisa 65 minutes, Florence 90 minutes and Siena 60 minutes.
