Fantastic view and perfect location on the Tuscan hill! The agricultural property is located in the small village of Tatti in Tuscany. Ideally situated between the sea and the hills of the Tuscan Ore Mountains. Tatti is a district of the Italian municipality of Massa Marittima in the province of Grosseto in Tuscany. The village is located around 25 km south-east of the municipal capital. It is a 20-minute drive to the sea. Rome and Pisa airports.
History of the village: The town was built in the early Middle Ages as a possession of the Bishops of Lucca; it then became the property of the Abbey of Sestinga, which kept it until the 13th century, when it passed under the rule of the Aldobrandeschi family. In the 14th century, after a temporary domination by the Pannocchieschi, it passed to Siena and became part of the Republic of Siena, until Tatti was definitively incorporated into the Grand Duchy of Tuscany in the mid-16th century. It was the summer residence of the Bourbon marquises of Monte Santa Maria, the rulers of Petrella.
